Experienced and Certified RBT

The therapist is responsible for providing intensive behavioral intervention services to clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide direct therapy in individual and/or group sessions.
Complete daily session data sheets and maintain client’s program book, graphing data per instructions.
Work with BCBA and therapy team to implement individualized goals and checklists.
Implement individualized treatment plan as written and directed by a BCBA.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational opportunities.
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients.
Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients.
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment. Use relevant technology to support instruction.
Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development.
Prepare required reports on students and activities.
Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
Keep updated with development in ABA, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructions and activities.
